I was on twitter just goofing off and came across candace cameron bure and i went to her page i found her book " Reshaping it all". i started reading this book on 06-24-11. It made me realize that one of the major things that are missing from my life is GOD.I have losy my way. I mean way off track. This book has shown me that I have to stop sitting here wishing for a differnt life and act on it.
Through GOD I can accomlpish anything including weight loss and bring my family to GOD and a better life. I want to write and give you updates as i go through this book and lose weight and grow with GOD.I hope you will follow along and maybe find your way to something wonderful.

people who inspire

I have recently became in volved in trying to save the planet. i started recycling and i stoppded using paper plates. which was very hard for me sine my dishwasher has taken a crap and i hate washing dishes. but if you change small things like that it can make a differnce. i am very happy to be a part of the isfoundation which is headed by ian somerhalder and tred on trafficing. isf is help save the world through awareness and trying to make small changes and tred on trafficing is to raise money to stop sex trafficing. and there are so many thinks out there to get invovled. ian inspires me he doesn't take his fame for granted he is using it to bring awareness to people. another big inspiration of mine is bethany joy galeotti she is another that lets people know the things she is takening apart in and tryes to get others to make a differnce also. check out these people go to change.org and sign a few things it doesn't take long in a matter of minutes you can make a differnce just try

that one turn

i was washing dishes the other day looking out of the window. jus thinking about life and if i could pin point one event that forever changed the course of my life. and i can think of one one day when my oldest daughter who is now 7 was 2 months old and i was driving with her father and he looked over to me and asked what whould you do if i broke up with me. i told him that i would move back to north fl, where my parents live and he told me to start packing and make arrangments. so i did. If i would have stayed in miami either with him or on my own i was thinking about how differnt things would be. for instance my daughter is half cuban but since i moved nback up here when she was so young and her father wasn't around when she was little she never learned to speak spainsh.  we lived in a small town in northern fl were its all about the good ole boys. we have a friend who still lives there with a child ther same age as mine and she has a cell phone and fake nails.  to think about how that one conversation changed the course of my life and how differnt my daughter would have been. i am glad i raised her here. can any of you think back to just one day or event that for ever changed your life?

unlived

I heard a wise man say don't be afraid of death be afaraid of the unlived life.  Think about that what have you done lately that was really living. Not something motivated to work or home. Something that if you have a famliy it brings you together. And some things you have to experince for yourself. Go  out and do something fun and silly if for no other reason than because its fun.

I  look at my self and realize that i live an unlived life. I have been unemployed for a year, i like staying at home with my 3 year old and picking my 7 year old up from school. I have come to realize that i am not the kind of house wife i thought i would be taking them to sports or dance. In my mind i saw my self going to the gym being healthier. How many of those things have i done none. But the TV networks should pay me for driving up there ratings.LOL

What that man said hit home for me ,what am i doing for myself or anyone else? I decided to change that i'm going to start living. I'm not stupid you can't just make major changes and expect them to stick in the long run. i started out with a bunch of small things For more fun with the kids and just letting them be kids and have fun, we did the backyard with swings and slide hot tube and pool.Toys as bats, balls, hula hoops. I take them outside let them run i spent to much time in front of the tv and while i was there so were my kids. theres nothing like seeing your kids light up swinging and running around care free to let you know that your living and so are they.....

Next will be how we can MAKE this a better place for them to have there children cause lets face it this country is going to shit

the lake city tombs

I like to research things just for the fun i know how silly. well, i decide that i wanted to know more about where i have grown up and in my research i found that in the 1920's a man with the last name Dumazuel was drilling oil about 65 feet under ground when they accidental finding the petrified remains of prehistoric men. woman, and kids. local people called the site "the lake city tombs". Of course with all good stories there is mystery. The man who found the site name was Edmund Robillard then he married and took her name and with her name wealth and royal status.
He turned the tombs into a tourist attraction to make money, the people of my wonderful town being the close minded people that they are tried to blow up the entrance to the site. that did not discourage Dumazuel. He cleared the debris and made the opening bigger, upon making it bigger he discovered a stone tablet with hieroglyphics. He took the money from the site to start constructing a second concrete entrance with descending tunnels. At the bottom of the first set of stairs in a huge iron gate that was closed all times they weren't doing any construction. After the iron door the first tunnel. the tunnels once finished were to lead into the underground cavern on one side where you can see the bodies in there original position then they would come out on the other side after passing through a small underground chapel where other relics and things that were found are on display.
Unfortunately they were not finished . Dumazuel had two young sons one of them accidental shot and killed the other. Dumazuel was so dis trot that he drove around with his dead son in his car for many days till officials made him properly bury him it was then that he made and above ground tomb for his son. Mr Dumazuel had previously worked for the government and was asked back to washington. In his attempt to save the tombs he gave it the the cathloic church. The city of lake city saw fit to remove all of the buildings then they filled the original shaft with many truck loads of dirt. and the second shaft was capped and covered with earth.
In my research i found that in 2005 a local lawyer robert jordan bought the property from the church and turned it to commerical subd. he said that when he first bought the property he had equipment out there and tried to reopen it he only went 20 feet down. So i've tried talking to him about preserving the tombs i have showed him all of the reports. He doesn't believe that the remains are real.
so now since a rich lawyer doesn't believe that they are real and bought the property we will forever lose a piece of history.

LIttle Things

I follow the vampire diaries books and show. well, when i watch or read something that i like alot i research it. a book water for elephants i looked up great circus disaster's. the vampire diaries the show the brothers were turned during the civil war era, where i live in a small town in northern fl there was the olustee battle that took place during the civil war. I found out all different kinds of neat stuff about the town that i live in.
History is important how do you know where your going if you don't know where your from.

Well back to what i started out to talk about i want to make this a better place for my children if you compare our country to even 50 years ago. this country has gone down the shitter. I thought what can one person do but if each one person would make a effort things could change.when researching the vampire diaries damon is my fav of course. Ian Somerhalder has a foundation dedicated to environment and animals for our future and the future of our children. i like what there foundation has to offer and it made me think what can i do. I noticed that at publix where i shop they have a big box thing that you can put your used publix bags. I for one have a holder for just such a thing but once its full i just through out the rest of the bags. No more i store them up for about a month and i take them back to publix or i fold and roll them together for our local library who uses the bags for people with alot of books. I bought reusable bags for the food too not alot of them but a few.Any little can help.
Also in my family i drink a hellish amount of mtn. dew and my husband has his. we've always thrown away the cans now i'm recycling.little things could help if more people made an effort. i use to be a girl scout and a girl scout leader and one of the things we teach is to leave a place nicer than when you came... If more people thought this way and paid attention then the very air we breath wouldn't be threatened....if you want to make a differnce check out isfoundation.com
